Introduction to Numerology
Numbers are everywhere. They’re the language of the universe. From the smallest atom to the largest galaxy, everything follows mathematical patterns. Numerology is the study of these patterns and what they reveal about you.
Numerology is simple: every number carries a vibration, a frequency, an energy. Your name, your birth date, and the numbers in your life all radiate these vibrations. Learn to read them, and you understand yourself at a deeper level.
This isn’t mystical—it’s mathematical. But the math reveals something sacred about who you are.

How Numerology Works
Section titled “How Numerology Works”The foundation is simple: reduce any number to a single digit (1-9) by adding its digits together.
Example: The year 2026 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 1 + 0 = 1
So 2026 reduces to 1.
Exception: The “master numbers” 11, 22, and 33 are not reduced. They carry special significance.
Every number from 1-9, plus the master numbers, has its own meaning. Once you know what each number means, you can interpret any date, name, or sequence.
The Three Main Systems
Section titled “The Three Main Systems”Numerology exists in three major traditions:
Pythagorean Numerology (also called Western numerology) comes from ancient Greece. It’s the most popular system in the West. Each number has straightforward meaning. Easy to learn.
Chaldean Numerology comes from ancient Babylon. It uses a different number-to-letter system. Considered more ancient and spiritually profound.
Vedic Numerology (Anka Shastra) comes from India and connects directly to Vedic astrology. Uses Sanskrit wisdom. Integrates with Jyotish.
All three systems work. Which one resonates with you depends on your intuition and background.
The Core Numbers
Section titled “The Core Numbers”Every person has several core numbers:
Life Path Number — Your overall life direction. Calculate from your birth date. The biggest indicator of who you are and what your life is about.
Expression Number (also called Destiny Number) — Your natural talents and abilities. Calculate from your full birth name. What you’re here to express.
Soul Urge Number (also called Heart’s Desire) — What motivates you. Your deepest needs and wants. Also from your name.
Personality Number — How others perceive you. Your outward presentation. From your name.
Birth Day Number — Your natural talents and abilities. From your birth date (single digit).
These five numbers tell your complete numerological story. Once you know them, you understand yourself deeply.

A Simple Example
Section titled “A Simple Example”Let’s say you’re born March 15, 1990.
Life Path: 3 + 15 + 1990 = 3 + 6 + 1 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1
Your Life Path is 1. You’re a natural leader and pioneer.
Birth Day: 15 → 1 + 5 = 6
Your Birth Day is 6. You’re naturally nurturing and harmonious.
These two numbers together show: You’re a leader (1) who brings people together (6). You lead with care.
Now imagine your name. Add up the letters (each letter has a number value) and reduce to a single digit. That’s your Expression Number. It shows how you naturally express these leadership qualities.
This is the foundation of numerology reading.
Why Numbers Matter
Section titled “Why Numbers Matter”Numbers aren’t magical. They’re the underlying structure of reality. When you understand the structure, you understand what’s underneath the surface.
Your life isn’t random. It follows patterns. Numerology reveals those patterns so you can navigate them consciously instead of unconsciously.
You see 11:11 repeatedly because it’s your soul’s way of reminding you to pay attention. Angel numbers (repeating numbers you see often) are messages. Once you learn numerology, you can read these messages.
