The Major Arcana is the heart of the Tarot deck. 22 cards that represent the soul’s journey of transformation—from the innocence of The Fool to the wholeness of The World.

Each card is an archetype—a universal character, situation, or lesson that resonates across all cultures and times.

The Fool’s Journey

The Major Arcana tells one complete story: The Fool’s Journey. It’s a metaphor for spiritual development and self-knowledge.

The Fool (0) begins the journey with innocence and trust, and through encounters with various archetypal figures and situations, the soul matures, learns, faces trials, transforms, and eventually reaches enlightenment as The World (21).
